Help me, Rhonda, or anyone else with some good ideas

I have this wreath and I love it, but it is soooo blah. What can I do to make it fabulous? Ribbon? I don't know, I'm totally stumped.

I thought about maybe spraying it solid red, but I'm in need of inspiration.

I don't want it to be a Valentine wreath. I want to hang it above my fireplace all the time.
Please help me!

What about tieing some pretty brown (or a coordiating color) ribbon to it. You could tie a bow at the top and have your last initial hanging down in the middle. You can buy wooden letters and then spray paint it to match the ribbon or the red. :)

how about getting some branches from outside and hot glueing them (after you tie some wire on the branches) and then spray painting it chocolate brown, or bright red if you want to keep it red? just a thought...

okay here is my idea - brown and red ribbon and then scrap little 1x1 pics of the kiddos and hot glue them on . . I no longer have one otherwise I would show you the finished product.
